Small Business Photography:
How a Small Businesses Owner Discovered She Really Needs Professional Photography

I received a call from a friend asking if I could meet with a business woman who needed some photography done.  I agreed and was set to meet with her the next day.

Margaret was trying to get a website together and produce new printed marketing materials.  The photos she and others had taken just weren't working anymore.  As the conversation continued Margaret revealed the root of her need.

"I have made a living from my handcrafted clothing for 37 years but now the clothing market is changing.  I need to get into new markets and expand my customer base.  The future of my business rests on finding a professional who can learn my business and give me new marketing tools that work."

Being a small business person with a fair bit of entrepreneurial spirit myself I could relate well to her plight.  My meeting with Margaret continued for several hours as she filled me in on the details of her manufacturing facilities in Ohio.  I immediately went to work on a plan and setting up my studio for our first photo shoot.

Margaret now schedules two visits per year to my studio so I can photograph her new pieces.  Margaret's clothing is actually an expression of art so photos with excellent color and texture accuracy are essential.  For two years Margaret has returned to my studio for all her professional fashion and product photography needs.

Studio
The bulk of photography is done in my downtown studio.  We used five models to photograph Margaret's entire product line in a single session.  My studio is very spacious complete with restrooms, a changing room and a large camera room making it easy to accommodate twelve or more people for photo shoots.

Location
A small amount of location work was also necessary.  This photo was taken at a retail location.

I am quite mobile and can pack up most of my studio and take it to your location to ensure consistent, professional results.

Margaret also enlisted my website development services furthering her time and cost savings.
