Portrait Photography:
What To Do When School Photos Don't Go Well

"The pictures are terrible!  My kid wasn't even ready because they never told us when picture day was and we paid way too much for what we got."

Most of the time people are happy enough with "mobile photographers" such as school pictures and portraits at Wal-Mart.  But on occasion, things don't go right or you just want something better.

Michele was pretty upset with how school portraits went in 2006 so she came to me for help.  "We want something better than regular school photos and we want more options for prints," Michele explained.  Later that week Michele and her husband brought their daughter to my studio for a session.

In the comfortable, unhurried environment of my studio we were able to talk about what they wanted and we created a variety of shots for them to choose from.

The family was very pleased with the results and spent less with me than on the photos ordered through the school.

After The Photo Shoot
I designed my own gallery software which allows you to see your photos shortly after our session is completed.  You can mark your favorites and even share your private gallery with friends and family.

For those who would like help looking their best, I offer extensive digital photo editing options - something I have been doing for over 10 years.

The Story Continues in 2007
Repeat customers are perhaps the best indicator that I am doing something right.  The family chose several poses and ordered a big pile of prints.  I don't do expensive portrait packages.  You get exactly the prints you want - no more, no less.

The studio time including several clothing and scene changes, photo editing to remove stray hairs and 41 high-quality prints including many 8x10 prints for family and friends totaled around $200.  I encourage you to compare my combination of quality and value against anyone.
