In order to maintain privacy of individuals who have galleries on this site, I have instituted
authentication. The authentication technology I have employed requires the use of a technology called "cookies".
Once you enter your invitation code, my server sends your computer a cookie. Every time you click on a link my
server will ask your computer to also send a copy of the cookie back to verify you are supposed to get access.
Most all websites in the world will send your computer a cookie. However, the web browser software on your computer
may be set to ignore cookies. Other software designed to protect your computer may also disable cookie support.
This would make it impossible for you to access your gallery. Below I describe one of several possible ways you can
enable cookies enabling you to access galleries on this server. If you are concerned about privacy and security
implications of this action, you may want to undo the steps shown below after you are done viewing your gallery.
Alternatively, you may want to search the Internet or access the help menu of your web browser for more information on
how to control cookies. Below, I demonstrate how to ensure cookies are enabled in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and
Mozilla Firefox 1.5. If you have a different browser refer to your browser's help or search
Google for help with enabling cookies for your specific browser. In Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, click on the Tools menu then select Internet
Options. The following dialogue box will appear.
Click on the "Advanced..." button. The following
screen will appear.
Check "Override
automatic cookie handling" and other options as shown above. In Mozilla Firefox 1.5 click on the Tools menu
then select Options. Click on the Cookies tab.
Check the "Allow sites to set Cookies" option. |
